The Company

North Georgia Mountain Outfitters is a family owned and operated business located in the heart of the beautiful North Georgia Mountains since April 2006. We strive to provide the highest quality hiking and backpacking gear for all levels of outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you are headed out on a dayhike or a multi-day backpacking expedition we have everything you need for a fun and safe adventure. As avid outdoors folks ourselves, we believe in sharing the wonders of the natural world with everyone. Our goal is to not only provide excellent clothing, supplies, and equipment, but also excellent customer service. We appreciate your business and will continue to be a leader in our field as well as out on the trails. Happy hiking!

Since October 26, 2009, North Georgia Mountain Outfitters is now owned by Travis, Shirley, and Whitney Crouch. We want to extend our thanks to Collin, who has done a great job establishing this business. We also want to extend our thanks to our loyal customer base, many of whom have come by the store to wish us well. We have hiked, climbed, biked, and paddled in the Appalachians as well as many other parts of North America for many years. It is our desire for our clientele to experience the fullness of the Great Outdoors through personal discovery just as we have. Many of our best memories as a family have resulted from our ramblings in the natural world. We wish every family could benefit from backcountry travel the way ours has. With this desire in mind, we offer the following as our mission statement, which defines who we are and what we desire our business to be all about.
