Sales of the new Benton MacKaye Trail 2007 Data Book have been brisk. Some demand has apparently been met by this offering, now available at several area retailers and other outlets, including North Georgia Mountain Outfitters in Ellijay; High Country Outfitters and (soon) REI in Atlanta; the Cherohala Visitors Center and the Charles Hall Museum in Tellico Plains, Tennessee; and others.
Sporting a waterproof coating on the outside cover and compact 4" x 5" size to slip easily into a shirt or cargo pocket, the 32-page booklet features 16 pages of trail data and several more of complimentary information. All 25 sections of the 288-mile BMT are covered.
